I wonder what road that is at the very bottom of the photo.
At the top left of the photo there in the distance you can see the manufactured gas holding tank that used to be just south of Jefferson High School. There is still a small building there that used to be right next to the tank.
Swan Island would have made an awesome city park!
Mike: Possibly N. Willamette Blvd.
Cool photo – different angle/direction than usual!
Mike;
Top of the photo I see the RAIL ROAD
What a transformation. Not physically part of but now addressed and referred to as Swan Island
Yeah that road is Willamette Blvd.
Willamette Blvd where N. Mocks Landing Road joins it, from the UP campus. That curved brick wall with columns is visible on Google Streetview.
Never thought of that. Like now, emergency, and only rout out is Going, or scamper up the hill?

Top left in the neighborhood in the distance
looks like a pair of LSTs moored at right.
anay historic buildings & homes left today ? love to know
Thanks for pointing out that little brick wall, PMC. Some of the surrounding trees may still be there too. Much of the rest of Mock’s Bottom looks unrecognizable today.
