1st Avenue, 1939

There’s a lot of detail in this photo of a Portland that has mostly disappeared. This is SW 1st Avenue looking south; the first cross street is SW Stark. The Union Block is on our immediate right here (now the Robert Duncan Plaza) and across Stark is the Ladd & Tilton Bank.
