Our neighbor had a Rambler like that one on the corner.
Would this be the Justice Center site today?
We’re looking uphill, so I’m guessing we’re looking southeast. This is now the site of the IRS building:
Across the street in 1964: Plummer Drug Co…
What a gorgeous building! Arched windows and doorways! ….and now demolished and gone. I am glad that this photo preserves it’s beauty….
June 2019 street view:
It looks like this is where Terry Schrunk Plaza sits today.
To add to my previous comment and bolster my surmising of the location, if you click on the image and enlarge, you will see the street sign showing 3rd running off to the left and Madison going uphill to the right.
I had a ’60 Valiant similar to the Valiant (or Lancer?) with the fake continental kit.
just wondering whether anyone knows who the original tenant of this building was? J.P. Finley undertaker original location was at this address but maybe a different corner.

It looks like this might have been designed by A.E. Doyle, Portland’s top early 20th century architect. http://archiveswest.orbiscascade.org/ark:/80444/xv80419
