  1. Would anyone know the make and year of the car on the left side of today’s 1964 photo — the pink car with the dark top?

  2. Bill, It is actually a 1955 Studebaker Champion or Commander sedan. Each identical to the other on the outside There were different versions of side trim depending on the models in either series. Side trim on 1954’s was lower on the body.

  3. Thanks, guys, for identifying the pink car as a Studebaker Commander. And Jay, when I looked it up on the link provided, I learned it wasn’t just pink, it was Coraltone Pink! What a beautiful and distinctive-looking car, front and back. And Patrick, the ’56 Chevy wagon is also a beaut! I love to see these old cars, along with the old neighborhoods.

  4. I know this may sound strange but that same chevy 56 wagon and same color has appeared in at least two other vintage photos in the last year to year and a half. Why do I know? Because my family had the same wagon but a 57 model and I noticed the similarities. I am beginning to wonder if it belonged to the photographer? I better do some digging to verify.
