We saw these two houses before, but from 1951, when it looks as if the city is widening Woodstock by paving over most of the curb strip on the south side of the street:
It’s not common for the washing to be be hanging on the front porch anymore.
I lived until I was 15 Right across from the house in the bend there. They widen the street, was too narrow. Now they just take away the auto parking.
I’m curious as to why Robert G referred to the bend on Woodstock Blvd. as “notorious”.
Are you able to find photoes on woodstock at 58th street and woodstock.

I am presuming that taking the curve to fast resulted in many head on collisions.
