  1. The Bruce-Emmett company was called an “electrical manufacturers’ representative” in The Oregonian (March 28, 1949 page 2). William G. Bruce and Thomas Y. Emmett were partners in the firm.

    On November 9, 1966 (page 11), the paper ran a story about two men who were arrested and booked into jail after allegedly entering the company at the address Edge Lord gives above. The charge was “burglary not in a dwelling.”

  2. It is the Bruce-Emmett Company – I worked there for a couple of years. It has an office and warehouse.
