Congrats Mike I knew it was Pioneer Courthouse Square, but you were quicker searching SW Broadway & Tommy Luke flowers. I bought a brick for the square I think they were $20. when it was built.
Flowers Tommy Luke was still there in 1980 when the square was built. Different sign though.
Brick sales started on April 6, 1981. There were 299,999 bricks available for a $15 tax deductible cost, and it came with a certificate suitable for framing, and a wallet. Oregonian April 3, 1981 Page 27
Here is some random info about the square for no reason at all. When the square opened the space the Starbucks is currently in was not a Starbucks it was Le Pavilion restaurant.
