I’ve never done the parallel bars in my life. I remember having to climb ropes (hated it) and such in the gymnasium in accordance with the President’s Council on Physical Fitness.
The instructor certainly looks fit; like a surfer in a Beach Boys song. The era of long hair was still a couple of years away, yet.
