  1. I wonder if this was near 42nd and Sandy? I think it was, where we went as kids a couple of blocks down to take violin lessons. We had to take the bus over.

  2. Know the place well, used to ride our bikes through the trolley street behind it which slanted from 41st to 42nd. Had grade school friends who lived a block each side, one on 42nd and one on 41st. The narrow street was closed to traffic. Days of Portland Beavers and Eddie Basinski. The businesses in the pictured building changed rather often as best I remember, I lived on SE 41st between Raymond and Mitchell from ’46 to about mid ’58.

  3. Rode the East Moreland trolley bus through the same short private ROW the Woodstock streetcar tracks had used from 41st to 42nd ~
