  1. The neon on the big arrows was cool. The arrows remain, but the neon is gone now. In the Google view you can see the holes in the arrows where the neon originally was.

  2. For further information on it go to Elliott R. Corbett Wikipedia page and under Portland Buildings see Corbett Brothers Auto Storage Garage. It was Portland’s first self service ramp garage and was designed by well known Portland architect A.E. Doyle. Alterations were made for the Corbett’s in 1948 by Pietro Belluschi. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places
