  1. Don’t know if this the right subdivision but SE Holgate Blvd used to be lined with green houses that stretched for blocks along the street. Old school nursery.

  2. There’s certainly not any terrain like that in the current Kern Park neighborhood.

    And Mike is correct, the originally platting for the neighborhood showed that the current park was divided up as lots. At some point the lots became a city park, but that wasn’t the original intent.

  3. Confusion continues as we conflate the Kerns neighborhood in close-in NE Portland with the Kerns Park subdivision in Foster Powell.
