  1. Fortunately, our Parking Enforcement officers wear a more suitable uniform these days. Gone are the pink suits, little hats & white boots for the women.

  2. It’s also possible that the person parked there had been feeding the meter and had already gone over that spaces time limit.

  3. Bar Harbor, Maine parking would put a chalk mark on a tire each round they made. Of course, people who knew this would rub the mark off and stay parked.
