  1. Those lovely flowerboxes, small trees and green grass gardens are “add-ons” painted in. Might I have had not enough java this morning to deceive my eyes?

  2. I don’t know much about architecture but I do know what I don’t like and that is those columns with the squares on them (ugly), what do they represent or mean?

  3. Looks like a rendering done by a civic-minded garden club. So the mayor can wander ’round and ’round the rose garden pondering the future of the city…

  4. I don’t mind the columns, but I wonder why they are pink? They’re not pink in the 1915 photo.
