  1. This is the former site of the zoo. It would be fascinating to see photos of how they reworked it–for instance, turning the bear pit into the water garden.

  2. One of their buildings was known as the “Meat House” as it was originally refrigerated Zoo feed storage. I don’t know what became of that building after the newer Maint. & facilities building was constructed in mid 80’s

    Its been 30 years since I was there…
    But, This drawing does not seem all accurate as I remember their layout.
