Peddle pushers…right? 🙂
Pedal pushers…Calf length trousers popular in the 50’s early 60’s. They still make em but now mostly referred to as capris.
I’m guessing the style kept the ladies pants cuff out of the bicycle chain.
“OK ladies, who wants glamour?”
“Me!, me!, me!….and me too!”
This would have a whole different feel to it if they were wearing spandex 🙂
my mom also referred to them as clam diggers 🙂
