  1. A sea of cars. Even some of the structures that look like buildings are actually parking garages when you look a little closer. Wonder what buildings were torn down to create the car storage…

  2. Homes of poor ethnic minorities. This was the Jewish/Italian/Other neighborhood up until it was torn down in the 60s.

  3. I lived in “The Village at Lovejoy Fountain” in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Love the area, love the neighborhood. It has changed a great deal when I visited this spring. Lost a lot of the community feel. St. Michael’s the Archangel Church is still the wonderful community it has always been.

  4. K-I haven’t had a car for 9 years & I’m very comfortable without one.
I could be in this photo. I was going to PCC’s Shattuck school at that time.

  5. The lighting along SW Lincoln was great. Attended PSU taking night classes. Dark walk back to your car at night after class except on SW Lincoln which was lit up because of of the center median lighting. All gone now with the light rail line going in there.
