  2. I just love all of your Vintage Portland images! My great grandfather started his construction company in Portland in 1911/1912, and I have looked through so many of your pictures.   3. This was the third slide in 28 days at this location affecting all three homes in this scene. The first was Feb 14, the second March 11 and the third March 15.
    The soil instability was thought to be caused by tree cutting along the bluff as well as a recently built home on top of the bluff. Seems like I’ve heard this story before.
