The intersection of SE 82nd and Powell looked positively rural in 1937. The quaint little corner is now dominated by fast-food restaurants and strip malls, with six lanes of traffic in every direction. This view looks north on SE 82nd.
Is the street 82nd Avenue looking north or Powell looking east or west?
I knew I forgot something! I’ve updated the post to show that this view is north on 82nd.
I wish it looked like that now, I hate the way it looks now, so congested and ugly
Does anyone have a picture of 82nd ave and Wygant St in 1949?
My, how things have changed in 73 years. If I’m understanding the perspective view correctly, Today, 7-11 replaced the Texaco, Carl’s Jr replaced the gravel lot that we see the partial of the flatbed truck, and it looks like powell was a narrow 2 lane road, like it currently is on the East side of SE 112th.

The BBQ place was my Great Grandmas place, Flanagan’s. Do you have any pictures of this restaurant?
