  1. The Albers Mills at the west end of the bridge always had what I’d describe as a ‘ripe’ aroma. I’d hold my breath when I walked by it.

    My current neighborhood is displayed here. Unfortunately, in 2016 there are vast differences. Where some may see only the cold, rusty sprawl of impending urban decay, many others feel as an industrial extension of their daily lives. And when Slabtown was razed for gentrification, Portland lost the warmest piece of its heart.
