“little has changed” Yup. Open the view Chris posted, rotate it right 90 degrees so that you’re looking SW, then zoom in. The curbstone damage is in pretty much the same state as captured in the 1942 photo at lower right.
Interesting how crappy the pavement looked when it was still relativity new. I assumed it was an aging problem.
Fun to see this picture. The house on the right corner was my grandparents house where my dad grew up.
