The curbstone damage is in pretty much the same state as captured in the 1942 photo at lower right.
Went on a run by here today. Looks almost exactly the same except different trees.

Interesting how crappy the pavement looked when it was still relativity new. I assumed it was an aging problem.
Fun to see this picture. The house on the right corner was my grandparents house where my dad grew up.
