Today’s Tiffany Center at SW Morrison at 14th Avenue was the 1928 Neighbors of Woodcraft building in 1951. This photo apparently was meant to document the illuminated stop sign.

I kind of like the idea of a lighted stop sign. Using LED lights maybe they could make a comeback at some intersections. (Street view: http://g.co/maps/43da7)

Rahway, NJ has some. I assume the one in this photo is black-on-yellow.
